SERVE> Vision
Our vision for the city has five parts: Presenting opportunities for leaders to connect to other Christian leaders in the community, encouraging and promoting efforts in equipping leaders, encouraging and promoting opportunities to pray as a community, distributing Bibles to groups who need them, and encouraging leaders who are suffering–as well as other acts of kindness or service.
SERVE> Our Impact
Benevolence
We have helped struggling Christian Leaders pay rent, buy tires, and buy groceries, as well as other things. This is an effort to encourage and help them continue in ministry.
Bibles
We have given the jail more than 500 christmas gifts (each with a Bible) for inmates as well as providing Christmas meals to the guards on duty or other meals.
Connections
We have hosted dozens of meetings of small groups to foster important connections through the region. Hundreds of emails along the same vein. We also regularly meet one-on-one with interested people to clarify the mission or launch new ideas.
Covid
During Covid we helped get the word out about mask collection, creation, and distribution through a few groups–in the end effort reached 90,000 pieces through a few different groups. During that year we also helped the Salvation Army get the word out about donations made to distribute to the community.
Everything we do is to further the Great Commission and Great Commandment in our community.
SERVE> Future Vision
It is our most sincere hope that the future is one of a vibrant, connected, activated, healthy city-wide Church that serves those in our community by collaborating in these five areas: distributing Bibles, connecting community, acts of compassion, prayer initiatives, and continually introducing people to and pointing to Jesus.
